  Had the 3 lamb chops and veg$19 & fish of the day with salad and chips.$18. Staggering quality and value. And a bottle of local grove estate rose for $26. Unbelievable value. Get there.

  Decent food. At very decent prices, same goes for the beers. The portion sizes are slightly smaller than normal but the price difference makes this place the better option

  Solid pub food, very welcoming for the kids. I had the Italian schnitzel which was very generously portioned. Not a gastropub by any stretch of the imagination but simple, hearty meals served quickly that get the job done. Would definitely go again when in Young.

  After a long 5 hour drive and tireless cherry picking, we were looking for a nice place to dine at and my mum chose this place out of every other. It was nothing exceptional but of expected bistro standard food. Service was good enough and the staff seemed friendly, though we didnt really need help since we ordered through our phones.
  
  I had the deluxe chicken schnitzel with chips, and the rest of us had some variety of steaks and chicken with similar sides. I would have had salad too but there was no option to add additional notes for the order, in which i’d have no dressing on it. Regardless, the food was quite alright, the chips were good, though the schnitzel was very weird. There was something about it that was kind of off putting but i ate it anyways because of how tired i was. It taste different to a usual schnitzel you would order anywhere else and it was also very bland. It was surprising to see no parmi dish here too, such a simple addition would make it all the more worthwhile. The rest of the meals were not too bad, but again, it wasnt anything exceptional. It was priced as any other bistro would be priced as well.
  
  A decent spot, though if i ever do come past Young again, i’d rather try a different restaurant to fancy my tastebuds.

  Big, high quality meals. I love the parmigiana and Mexican chicken schnitzels and the nachos. The Aussie supports live music in town and is a great place to have a beer.

  My 3 stars reflect that the room was very warm and damp and had a weird smell and we could not adjust the air conditioning. I slept very uncomfortably. This is clearly marketed as a party-oriented hostel which did not bother me and the bar & club areas were quite nice. Very lively on the weekends. ~10 min walk to pier.

  Very pleased with the service from Gilligans. They gave us, a group of 20, full refunds for our cancelled booking due to the Covid19 situation. I our group will definitely be using them in the future because we admire their integrity and how easy they were to deal with. Top notch!

  If you're up for a sesh every night this is the place to be. Cheap drinks, great entertainment and very welcoming staff. Great facilities and still very cheap

  Be warned this is a nightclub with a hostel attached, the music goes on till 3am every morning, though I still managed to sleep well enough on the nights I didn't go out.
  
  The dorm price is good value for money, the bunks are comfy and the showers are great.
  
  Only problem is there is only one toilet per dorm and no communal bathroom area.

  The place to stay if your looking to party! Rooms are a reasonable size, pool is so refreshing after a day out, food is good (definitely take advantage of the $5 meal deal). Can be a bit loud if you go to bed before the rest of the place but not unbearable
